We are delighted to announce that we have been nominated for awards in two categories at the upcoming “Insider Made in the North East Awards 2022” by Insider Media Limited! Clayton are up against some big names in both the “Manufacturer of the Year (Over £25m)” and the “Sustainable/Ethical Manufacturer” brackets.
This is the 4th instalment of the prestigious awards ceremony, presented by Insider Media Limited, following events in 2018, 2019 and 2021.
The awards, titled “Insider’s Made in the North East Awards 2022”, are a ceremony there to showcase and recognise the quality of products and services offered by manufacturing and engineering companies based in the North East of England.
Insider Media are the UK’s most successful regional B2B media company, with over 200,000 subscribers to their regional B2B magazine. They have a long history of connections with a number of blue-chip clients, and putting on classy awards evenings such as this one.
Clayton Glass have been recognised for their efforts in both the “Manufacturer of the Year (Over £25m)” and the “Ethical/Sustainable Manufacturer” categories.
Clayton Glass Managing Director Ryan Green had the following to say on the nominations:
“It’s tremendous to be shortlisted, unprompted too. It’s great to see recognition for the team’s achievements from outside the industry.
“Firstly in the Manufacturer of the Year category, I feel this reflects the success of our way of doing things. Our unique approach to the services we provide our customers, in terms of the flexibility, honesty and commitment we show them, as well as the growth we’ve been through over the last 12 months. This nomination is very much as a result of the hard work the Clayton team have put in over this period, so this one is for them.”

We put a lot of effort in to being a sustainable and ethical manufacturer, through our development of EcoMAX – our brand of biodegradable glazing, our initiatives to use a certain amount of recycled glass, and our installation of multiple electric car charging points, among other things.”
