Update to November Commodity Surcharge

Clayton Team | 01 Oct 2026
minute read

We are keeping our headline rates unchanged and using our temporary Commodity Surcharge to respond to continued pressure on raw material and energy costs.

For all deliveries from and including 1st November 2026, the Commodity Surcharge will increase by 3p/kg to 18p/kg.

By keeping this adjustment separate from our headline rates, we can reduce the surcharge as input costs ease. We review it monthly to ensure it reflects current conditions.

Please share this update with the relevant commercial and purchasing colleagues within your organisation. If you have any questions, your usual contact will be happy to help.

Thank you for your continued business.
