Introducing EcoCycle: Revolutionizing Glass Recycling for a Sustainable Future

Clayton Team | 06 Apr 2025
minute read

In a world increasingly focused on sustainability, the need for effective recycling solutions has never been greater. Glass, one of the most recyclable materials on the planet, often ends up in landfills due to inadequate recycling infrastructure. That’s where EcoCycle comes in—a groundbreaking recycling service dedicated to post-consumer glass waste, including glazed frames and loose glass, with a mission that goes beyond recycling.

Why Glass Recycling Matters?

Glass is 100% recyclable and can be reused indefinitely without losing quality. Yet, millions of tons of glass waste are discarded annually, contributing to environmental degradation. By recycling glass, we:
✔ Reduce landfill waste
✔ Lower carbon emissions (recycled glass melts at a lower temperature than raw materials)
✔ Conserve natural resources (less sand, soda ash, and limestone mining)
✔ Support a circular economy

But at EcoCycle, we believe sustainability should benefit people as much as the planet. That’s why the profits from our initiative are reinvested into the community as grants for local good causes—helping schools, environmental projects, and social programs thrive.

The EcoCycle Solution
EcoCycle makes glass recycling easy, efficient, and impactful for businesses and consumers alike. We accept:

✅ Loose glass, single, double or triple glazed
✅ Glazed frames (window panes, sashes, glass doors)
✅ Annealed, Tempered & laminated glass

How It Works

1. Collection: Drop off your glass waste at our designated centres or schedule a pickup for bulk quantities.
2. Sorting & Processing: We separate glass, removing contaminants for optimal recycling.
3. Repurposing: The cleaned glass is crushed into cullet and sent to manufacturers for new products—windows, doors, bi-folds, lanterns.
4. Giving Back: The profits funds community grants, supporting local environmental initiatives, education programs, and social enterprises.

Join the EcoCycle Movement
By choosing EcoCycle, you’re not just recycling—you’re helping build a zero-waste future while empowering your community.
