Production Operative

We are hiring for the position of Production Operative across our four sites in: County Durham, North Shields, Nottinghamshire and Blackburn. About the Role


– To work closely with the production team to increase quality, efficiencies and moral.

– To work closely as a team with supervision to achieve this.

– To constantly push the “Right First Time” philosophy.

– To constantly monitor production flow to enable us to hit our production targets.

– To migrate across all areas of the production unit.

What we want from you

We are not looking for any specific qualifications. First and foremost, we look for you to show a great attitude towards work, and to take it on with a sense of pride. Secondly, we want someone with a fantastic record of attendance and will turn up on time and work their full shift.

Daily responsibilities

– Achieve daily production targets.

– Check daily start up sheets.

– Daily housekeeping checks at end of shift.

– Log all units that need a full remake, and identify problem/solution.

– Health & Safety infringements (inform supervisor).

– New customer/extra care checks (liaise with supervisor).

– Achieve daily production targets.

– Check daily start up sheets.

– Housekeeping audit with the supervisor.

– To work with the Supervisor to constantly question current methods and processes in order to try and improve work flow.

Earnings: around £400 per week (up to £11.14 per hour)

This includes a shift premium for working unsocial hours (This is based on a 21+ year old working 3 shifts per week).
