Position: Production Operative.

Location: Harelaw, County Durham.

Reports to: Shift Manager.

Job Purpose: To be capable of following and understanding the company procedures, targets and goals.

Shift Pattern: Our Harelaw site is open 24 hours a day. Production Operatives must be able to work 3 shifts. Those shifts are: Day Shift (Everyday: 6am-2pm), Back Shift (Monday-Thursday: 2pm-10:30pm, Friday: 2pm-7:30pm) and Night Shift (Sunday: 8pm-6am, Monday-Thursday: 10:30pm-6am)

– To work closely with the production team to increase quality, efficiencies and moral.

– To work closely as a team with supervision to achieve this.

– To constantly push the “Right First Time” philosophy.

– To constantly monitor production flow to enable us to hit our production targets.

– To migrate across all areas of the production unit.

– Achieve daily production targets.

– Check daily start up sheets.

– Daily housekeeping checks at end of shift.

– Log all units that need a full remake, and identify problem/solution.

– Health & Safety infringements (inform supervisor).

Reports to: Group Transport Manager

Job Purpose: A weekly/monthly financial responsibility payment. Training in the office to be able to successfully cover the Transport Manager. Ongoing training with compliance standards. Opportunity to progress to a full time office based position.

Shift Pattern: 6am – 6pm, must be flexible.

Job Purpose: We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team based at the Blackburn site, good knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts is essential although training will be given.

Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm.

Position: Health & Safety Assistant

Location: Blackburn, Lancashire & Huthwaite, Nottinghamshire

Reports to: Health & Safety Manager

Job Purpose: We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Health and Safety team based between our Blackburn and Huthwaite sites, basic understanding of Health and Safety in general is essential although training on how we operate as a business will be given. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential and an understanding of training and the delivery of training would be beneficial.

Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday, 8am – 4pm (37.5 hours).

  • – Ordering both sites PPE
  • – Updating and Reviewing Training Records
  • – Competent in writing and reviewing Risk Assessments
  • – Conducting Internal Audits
  • – Health and Safety Training including Inductions
  • – Host Health and Safety Meetings on a monthly basis
  • – Ensuring compliance to the Business Health and Safety Policy
  • – Accident and Near Miss Investigation including Root Cause Analysis
  • – Ad hoc Duties when required
